Design Trends Handwritten Fonts Are Hot

By aishahNovember 19, 2015February 12, 2016Blog

LATEST DESIGN TRENDS

Handwritten Fonts Are Hot Right Now

Handwritten fonts are very popular right now. People have swung back to appreciating the handwritten look, according to the latest design trends.

A few years ago, the old typewriter look was very fashionable. But from 2014 through to 2015, handwritten fonts are at the forefront of great design.

Many usually conservative, corporate companies are now using a more relaxed handwritten font, keeping up with design trends.

If font fashion changes as often as clothing, it could become quite expensive for some companies to keep up but lucrative for designers.

There are many fantastic handwritten fonts available, from the shaky hand to ornate, decorative swirly handwriting.

Little Mouse Design is a big fan of the hand written or hand rendered look. Little Mouse also appreciates more conservative and classical font designs.

Remember to ask your Graphic Designer about fonts. The font can make or break a great design. From funky to farout, grunge to conservative, it’s a good idea to experiment with a few different font styles before deciding on the final design.

DIY Design, a warning

If you are going to DIY any of your design work, be careful to choose a font that is available to be used for commercial purposes. If you choose a font, from say, my font, a site offering free and commercial fonts, make sure you read the terms and conditions associated with every font. Each font can have different terms set out by the font designer.

Your Graphic Designer can help you with this.

Hot tip: Don’t use too many different styles together. Too many font styles can confuse the design and the actual marketing message can be lost.
